Multi-colored kisii stone (sometimes referred to as soapstone) is a relatively new concept which is currently very popular. Natural dyes are absorbed by this stone giving it a colored appearance. Once each carving has been hand dyed it is engraved by a craftsman through the dyed layer to further embellish the carving. These plates make great gifts for the home or office for decorative purposes only . Hand created items are always similar, but no two pieces are "exactly" alike, which adds to their value. Can be wall hung or displayed as shown. Does not include display stand.
