I'll show you how. There are literally hundreds of ways to introduce the look and feel of Africa into your home or office, and I've tried many of them. Now you can see some of my tips and tricks for creating your own unique Africa-style environment. However you want it--low key or all out, just a little bit or a lot--decorating Africa-style is fun, fulfilling and affordable. One thing I should mention right off the bat is that you must reject conventional ways of thinking. The real key to Africa-style decorating is your thinking process. You must THINK innovative and alternative. How It All Began The seeds of AfroDécor were sown during the 1960s, when I started looking for "affordable" home decorating accessories and gifts in patterns and colors that reflected the many cultures of the African diaspora.
